2. Data we process
We process the data you voluntarily provide when subscribing to the newsletter (name and email), as well as technical data generated by your browsing (IP address, device type, pages visited and access date and time).
3. Purpose and legal basis
Data is used to (i) send the newsletter and requested educational content, based on your consent; (ii) analyze site use and improve the experience, based on our legitimate interest; and (iii) comply with applicable legal obligations in Ecuador.
4. Retention
We keep your data as long as your subscription is active or a relationship with Ecadriol exists. You can request removal at any time; your data will then be blocked and kept only for the legally required periods.
5. Recipients
We do not sell or transfer your data. We may rely on technology providers (transactional email, analytics, hosting) that act as data processors under contract and with adequate security measures.
6. Your rights
Under the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data of Ecuador (LOPDP), you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, portability and suspension of processing by writing to privacidad@ecadriol.com. You may also file a claim with the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection of Ecuador.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No measure is infallible, but we work with providers that follow recognized standards.
8. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. We will publish the date of the last update at the top.
